When creating something new, experience with similar projects can be a boon. Perspective, capability, insight, these are all valuable things to bring to the table.
But we must also recognise that although many of the pieces may look the same, creating something the world has never seen before, by its fundamental nature comes with uncertainty.
In the face of uncertainty, we need the humility to set aside our certainly. We need a beginners mindset.
We can have strong assumptions, we can have a solid hypothesis.
But until we test and validate that’s all they are.
